Covid and conspiracy part one - in theory

For Covid panic panic pushers and their enforcers those wanting their pre-pandemic lives and freedoms back are “fringe far-right bat-shit crazy conspiracy nuts”.

So I fall under that label even though I have always been very sceptical about conspiracy theories.

Having worked in government I find it hard to believe they could orchestrate a intricate master plan flawlessly, quietly and with ruthless efficiency.

There would first have to be months of pre-pre-planning committee meetings where different sections argue about whose job is what and then basically ignore that and do what they want.

Covert operations would have to abruptly cease at 4.51pm or risk blowing the secret off-the-books budget allocation on overtime.

If SPECTRE was a government organisation Blofeld would press the button for the trapdoor to feed an underling to the sharks and it wouldn’t work as maintenance has a three-month backlog of tasks and the wrong form was filled out.

The sharks would probably be dead as the state-of-the-art enviro-compliant water filtration system’s solar charging panels had been placed in the shade.

However, perhaps no organisation could really be as bad as government plainly often is and that's a false front for the real efficient “shadow government”.

As any conspiracy theorist knows once you go down the rabbit-holes you can have trouble finding your way out as you realise everything is connected which appeals to the need we have to find a sense of order in what seems to be the random course of events.

Shadowy organisations or masterminds appeal to our sense of the dramatic but there are often much simpler explanations for things that are merely coincidental and sometimes such ideas are simply malign fabrication.

Events rarely have a clear-cut shape at the time and that emerges only in retrospect and often by simplifying or leaving out the things that don’t fit a neat explanation.

However, a reason Covid makes me wonder whether there might be some other agenda underlaying what is happening is the remarkable uniformity in response to the virus across what used to be called the First World.

Lockdowns, social distancing, QR codes and vaccines have been enacted and enforced in very similar ways across the nations of Europe, North America and the Antipodes.

The obvious explanation that Covid escaped from a lab that was studying, and perhaps creating, diseases such as Covid was initially ridiculed and angrily dismissed out of hand but this doesn't seem so silly anymore and even more amazingly the virus might have been created with US funding.

Early footage of apparently healthy Chinese Covid victims suddenly collapsing and dying in the streets seems ludicrous in retrospect and the lock-step lockdown approach of Western nations, with initially the sole exception of Sweden, seems to have been learnt from China.

So many of the Covid rules and restrictions have been absurd and wildly inconsistent both in retrospect and at the time, with little or no “science” backing them up.

Potential alternative treatments with great historical pedigree, such as Ivermectin have been ridiculed and banned.

Extreme repressive means have been used to quell protests. against measures supposedly taken for "our health".

Police have monitored such “subversive” activities in a very disturbing fashion.

Explanations that conflict with the “official narratives” have been the subject of censorship or threatened with it.

That official narrative has been enforced with harsh sanctions, even against doctors.

Despite being continually assured how or safe the Covid vaccines are there is plenty of evidence of mounting harms.

We are learning how the slippery term “with Covid” has vastly inflated the number of deaths that can be with any confidence attributed to Covid.

There is plenty of reason to think we have been lied to often and constantly with a disturbingly similar pattern to those lies.

After noting some of these things among even more damning mistruths, half-truths and downright lies even The Guardian noted "it would actually be bizarre to unquestioningly believe and unwaveringly conform to elite guidance" but then chooses to do so.

The question is, for people like me who aren’t normally drawn to conspiracy theories, how to explain this in a coherent fashion.

The approved style for a mainstream media journalist writing about conspiracy theories is abuse, mockery and sneer or to adopt a condescending manner but I am going to outline some theories, as I understand them, at face value.

I asked people on Twitter to tell me what they think is really happening.

The responses varied but there were some reoccurring themes.

Covid was manufactured in the Wuhan lab, probably as under "gain-of-function" research, which involves White House Chief Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci.

Some believe the virus escaped and others that it was released on purpose.

The record speed the Pfizer vaccine was released in shows drug-makers had already developed the mRNA vaccines, which work at cellular level and create artificial proteins, in readiness for mass testing on worldwide scale, which effectively is what the vaccination program is.

There is mounting evidence the mRNA vaccines continue to produce protein spikes, which they were not meant to do and if there had been a normal lengthier trial process this might have been picked up.

To conduct the mass test meant the banning of other cheaper drugs and you can "follow the money" from drug companies to medical authorities and politicians.

Bill Gates is another booster (no pun intended) of mRNA vaccines, which he is pouring millions into as are many other "one per cent" type individuals and companies.

Which brings us to the crux of many conspiracy theories that Covid is something cooked up by the ultra-rich and powerful at somewhere like their annual World Economic Forum (WEF)powwow in Davos. 

The WEF advocates a restructuring of free market societies, which it calls The Great Reset.

This Great Reset can be summed up by the phrase  “you will own nothing and be happy”.

The main driver is WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab, who at first glance you might mistake for a Mike Myers character.

In 1992 Schwab established the WEF's Young Global Leaders School and the list of graduates is pretty well a Who's Who of the planet's most influential people in politics and business, including our prime minister.

A major theme of The Great Reset is "Stakeholder Capitalism". which means companies don't seek to maximise profit but instead strive to "make the world a better place" with particular focus on environmental impact, which means it aligns with the  UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Another major plank is "The Fourth Industrial Revolution", which is more nebulous but argues that societies should holistically fuse physical, digital and biological technologies - or something like that.

Some believe that the real agenda is a type of techno-totalitarian society where governments and huge corporations partner to control the population through means that look a lot like China's Social Credit system with all our transactions and tech use monitored and controlled by digital passports.

A foretaste of how this control works can be seen in Canada with the confiscation of donations to the truckers freedom convoy and freezing bank accounts of those who have donated.

Covid, which was war-gamed by the WEF, is the means to begin asserting such control by the means of "mass formation psychosis" which can be achieved by feeding people constant fear and breaking down the normal societal bonds.

Allied with this is the economic destruction of small business to make people more reliant on the government and big corporations.

A grim extension is that some believe Covid and vaccines are actually a plan to depopulate the planet.

Because crawling through rabbit-holes is exhausting for someone of my, well, let's say well-rounded stature I am going to leave it there for the moment.

After all we know with conspiracy theories the "truth is out there" but always tantalisingly just beyond our grasp.
