Covid and conspiracy part four - fashionable genes
Donald Trump was not the first professional wrestling figure to occupy the White House, at least imaginatively.
In the film Idiocracy professional wrestler and porn star Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho is US president 500 years in the future because America's IQ level has dropped, which apparently is possible, because as the song goes “only stupid people are breeding”.
This is the worst nightmare of eugenicists and
probably what keeps World Economic Forum (WEF) "big thinkers" like Klaus Schwab awake at night.
Eugenics is the bastard offspring of the hopelessly wrong Malthusian warnings about “overpopulation”, which in my previous post I linked to the ideas of the World Economic Forum and its collaborators.
These theories have done immense damage.
Paul Ehrlich’s warnings of impending
doom are credited with convincing the Chinese communists to
implement their hideous one-child policy, which has to be considered as one of
the greatest humanitarian and demographic catastrophes of all time.
Eugenics, as we all know, metastasized into the Nazi horrors beyond imagining but what is less well known is how the Nazis drew inspiration from eugenics programs in the US and
western Europe.
In the US women who were considered of inferior stock, often meaning not wealth Anglo-Saxon protestant, or mentally defective were forcibly sterilised from 1900.
The practice did not officially end in California until 1979 and 1974 for Sweden.
Forced sterilsation or the aborting of children deemed to be
from inferior stock, as Winston Churchill said of Australians, are crimes and as such are recognised in the UN declaration that no one will be forced to have a non-consensual medical procedure.
Somehow non-consensual medical procedures have become quite common now though.
Eugenics was a belief widely held in wealthy “progressive circles” in the US, Europe and a bit closer to home.
One devotee was Margaret Sanger who began Planned Parenthood, America's giant pro-abortion advocate and provider.
Margert Sanger's dream of "exterminating the negro population" may not have been realised but her organisation has taken part in aborting millions black Americans.
Bestselling book Freakonomics even put forward the controversial eugenics-style theory that a steep reduction in
crime could be traced to aborted babies being not being born to
black single mothers.
An interesting figure who sat on the original board of Planned Parenthood was Bill Gates... Senior.
He was better known as William Gates, his son has adopted the shortened form of Bill.
Gates the younger has continued the work of helping ensure fewer black babies are born.
His foundation has been very active in promoting birth control in poorer nations, and has even patented the notion of doing it by “remote control”.
Not surprisingly Gates is a Malthusian who worries about the "population problem".
When discussing climate change, the pivot Malthusians made after food shortages and resource depletion didn't work out for them, Gates said we need to get population growth down towards zero.
Incredibly he said the way to do this was "if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive services".
Those are all things you would normally think should lead to an increase, not a decrease, in human beings.
However, it is true that as countries become wealthier couples tend to have less children.
Worries about not having enough children to pay taxes to look after their parents even spurred Australian Treasurer Peter Costello to bring in a baby bonus.
Singapore's government goes a step further by offering its services as a matchmaker but only for the more "desirable" breeding stock of educated Chinese.
However, that method of eugenics is looking quite out of date.
Now genetic defects can be tested for in the womb and the pregnancy terminated.
In some countries we may only be a generation off having no Down Syndrome babies.
The next step, already done at least once, is to edit genes before birth and create so-called “designer babies”.
Research into cloning humans and even creating Captain America-style super-soldiers is believed to be well under way in China.
Soon people could be bred to be less susceptible to sickness, thus reducing healthcare costs for countries struggling with ageing populations, or perhaps people could be womb-modified for specific occupations.
However, as we now know, vaccines now can perform genetic work on already the born, a field that Gates has an outsized presence in.Working for nothing is a lefty-hippy-commie idea. If you got something of value out of this blog please consider paying something - even a small amount - for it.
